Announcement of New National Executive Members of APROCON

The Association of Professional Counsellors of Nigeria (APROCON) is pleased to announce its newly elected National Executive Members for the 2024 term. These individuals have been chosen to lead the association, representing the interests of professional counselors across Nigeria and steering the organization toward achieving its mission of enhancing mental health services and counseling education.
The newly appointed National Executive Members are as follows:
1. Prof. Obi Osorochi Patricia – President
2. Dr. Salman A. Adisa – Vice President
3. Dr. Ayodeji Oyalowo – National Secretary
4. Dr. Dahiru Yahaya – Assistant National Secretary
5. Dr. Tolorunleke Caroline – Treasurer
6. Dr. Habiba Isah – Financial Secretary
7. Prof. Mary Esere – Editor
8. Dr. Tunde Oke – Associate Editor
9. Dr. K. K. Lawal – Membership Secretary
10. Dr. Benedette Ndudi Okiei – Welfare Officer
11. Dr. Stella Ugwueze – Investment Officer
12. Oseni Yahaya – Internal Auditor
13. Promise Iwoha – National Publicity Secretary
14. Prof. Ekundayo Ocholi – Ex-Officio I
15. Dr. Shua'ib Muhammad – Ex-Officio II
These newly elected officials are tasked with guiding APROCON through its next phase of growth, advocating for the counseling profession, and ensuring the welfare of its members. Their dedication and leadership will be key in advancing the association's objectives and promoting mental health awareness across Nigeria.
