Mental health support, emotional wellbeing, and the expanding role of counselling in contemporary society took centre stage as the 2026 Conference of the Association of Professional Counsellors in Nigeria (APROCON), Lagos Chapter, commenced at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
